As injection molding evolves so does the technology to produce better parts with tighter tolerances with a capable process. MPI has the tools in place to monitor injection pressure, machine variation, injection volume, variations in material viscosity and more.
MPI is also capable of monitoring “Cavity pressure”. This is the most important variable since your part is made within the cavity, not the barrel and screw of the machine. Monitoring cavity pressure insures your parts will be molded the same shot to shot.
V to P Transfer Control
This process allows implementation of Decoupled MoldingSM techniques by transferring the machine from velocity to pressure control on cavity pressure, hydraulic pressure, position or time.
