Ontario, CA – Mission Plastics, Inc., an experienced custom injection molding and precision tool maker in Southern California for more than 35 years, confirms the promotion of Matt Dauphinee to Director of Operations, and announces the promotion of Benhur Edla to Program Manager – Marketing & Sales, managing Customer Relations, Marketing and Project Management. Mission has launched an initiative to streamline its work teams and align them under experienced management to continue their legacy of driving production efficiency and quality throughout the operation, and delivering a valuable and profitable customer experience.
Each manager brings a unique skill set to their new roles. Dauphinee, who oversees the quality of engineering and production, and the timely delivery of all part orders to meet customer expectations, comes into his operations leadership role with a demonstrated history of success in the plastics industry.
Raised in plastic molding and manufacturing by his father and Mission Plastics Co-Founder, Patrick Dauphinee, and having earned a BS degree in Manufacturing Engineering from California Polytechnic University in Pomona, CA, Dauphinee is a qualified expert in DFM, value stream mapping and process re-engineering, as well as a master of key design and production related technologies in plastic molding—all to command over the processes and tools that deliver positive results.
Edla will now manage the Customer Relations, Marketing and Project Management teams, and will shepherd over project on-boarding, design and production stages on behalf of all Mission customers. He is a well-educated and experienced project manager with more than a decade of experience in business process re-engineering, operations, project management and supply chain management.
Edla is an expert in planning, organizing and managing projects and resources in all stages of design and production, This, coupled with his experience and earning a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Business, adds to his qualifications to lead the Customer Relations, Marketing and Project Management teams at Mission. He is passionate about his Teams, performing as an effective advocate for Mission customers through the entire process to ensure a confident and valuable customer experience.
