Positions: Program Manager
Program Manager: Design, develop, and implement new operating procedures to increase the efficiency and maximize the profitability of the company’s plastics production, sales, and product onboarding systems. Review existing policies, operating procedures, work and material flows, and organizational structures to identify bottlenecks, redundancies, and sources of variance. Analyze data for various stages of the sales and production process, including lead times, cycle times, sales conversion rates, and capacity utilization percentages. Report findings to company stakeholders and collaborate with management, engineers, and sales teams to define production and sales targets, project deliverables, Key Performance Indicators, and operational metrics. Design and implement new Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and project schedules using Lean Six Sigma and Project Management methodologies. Develop comprehensive metrics and reporting systems for order management, sales conversion and tracking, manufacturing, and new product onboarding using IQMS software. Educate and direct manufacturing and sales teams on updated procedures, standards and documentation requirements. Perform workflow assessments to gauge the reception and success of updated procedures. Communicate regularly with personnel, vendors, buyers, and management teams to solicit feedback. Conduct regular audits and gap assessments to refine procedures and production goals and identify areas of continual improvement. Will supervise 1 Project Coordinator and 1 Customer Service Representative.
Requirements: The position requires a Master’s degree in Business Administration and 1 year of experience in the job offered or a related position. The Master’s degree may be substituted with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and 5 years of experience in the job offered or a related position. The position requires skills and knowledge in Project Management, Supply Chain Management, Lean Six Sigma, Microsoft Office, and MS Visio. The position involves little travel -24% of work time, several days but less than 60 days per year.
